Yellow Brick Reels Return to Player (RTP) and Volatility
Arrow’s Edge hasn’t really put on the return-to-player percentage for Yellow Brick Reels, but through our research, we discovered that it is somewhere around the mid-90s. This isn’t bad for an online slot game – although we wouldn’t mind clarity on what it actually is.
Yellow Brick Reels can be a very rewarding game. However, you will have to put up with high volatility percentage if you want to try and get those big wins. This means that you shouldn’t expect to see frequent wins covering previous losses. But no game is as exciting as one with literal opportunities to win big at any second.
Design
Yellow Brick Reels uses the standard 5×3 board and features 25 paylines. As far as structure goes, there isn’t anything too special about this game. If you have played slots with 25 paylines before (which most experts have), you will be very familiar with how you get paid out.
As far as design goes, the visuals will either be a hit or miss for you. Some of the imagery looks like it comes out of a TV show meant for toddlers, whereas other visuals show a more interesting edge. Overall, we thought the game looked cute enough to play for a while.
Gameplay
Here is all you need to know about the gameplay in Yellow Brick Reels:
Symbols
The symbols in Yellow Brick Reels are all theme-related. Imagery includes the farmhouse caught in a tornado, the tin man, a flying monkey, a child with a lollipop, Princess Ozma, the Cowardly Lion, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Toto.
Dorothy is the game’s wild symbol. This means she will complete winning combinations for you, meaning more wins when she appears on the board.
The “Wizard of Slots” is the game’s scatter symbol. Land three scatters, and you will activate the game’s bonus mode.
Bet Range
Yellow Brick Reels has a pretty massive betting range. The minimum bet starts at $0.25. The maximum bet caps at $250. Overall, there seems to be a range that will fit the needs of most players.
Bonus Features
Yellow Brick Reels only has one bonus mode – a free spins bonus feature. Land at least three scatters on a payline to activate it. The more scatters you land, the more free spins you will be rewarded. The range is between 10 and 20 total spins.
During the free spins mode, all your wins will be incremented by a multiplier between 4x and 10x. To cap it all off, just completing the free spins feature combination earns you a payout of up to 100x your bet.
Yellow Brick Reels Final Rating
Yellow Brick Reels is an unpretentious slot game that attempts to bring to life the world of a simpler time. It offers opportunities to win big, but don’t expect to get those wins often. It wasn’t the best game we’ve ever played, but we enjoyed our time with it.
Overall, we have decided to give this slot game a rating of three out of five. We think this is fair for a game that is fun but is lacking in bonus features.
